Lauren Akin

Lauren Akin has a diverse work experience in the field of media and marketing. Lauren started their career as a Sales Representative at University Directories in 2004. Lauren then worked as a Cashier, Server, and Bartender at Buffalo Wild Wings from 2002 to 2005. In 2004, they also served as a Marketing Communications Intern at Bio-Microbics, Inc.

From 2005 to 2020, Akin worked in various roles at different companies. At Sullivan Higdon & Sink, they worked as a Media Coordinator from February to June 2005. Lauren then joined Haworth Marketing + Media where they held different positions including Assistant Media Planner, Media Planner, Media Supervisor (Strategy), and Media Supervisor (Video/Audio) from 2005 to 2015.

Following this, Akin worked as a Media Supervisor at Kruskopf & Company from July 2015 to May 2018. Lauren then moved to Compass Point Media where they initially held the position of Investment Supervisor from May 2018 to August 2019. Later, they became the Associate Media Director of Investments from August 2019 to December 2020.

Currently, Akin is working at Mediahub Worldwide, starting in December 2020, where they initially served as Associate Media Director and is currently the Video Investments Director.

Lauren Akin attended Eden Prairie High School from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism at The University of Kansas from 2000 to 2004.
