We are looking for a skilled professional who will be able to:

  • Propose and advocate for architectural solutions that meet current and future business needs

  • Ensure architectural decisions align with overall IT strategy and best practices

  • Maintain and improve existing software solutions to ensure reliability and performance

  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

  • Steer the development squad to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of PHP, particularly PHP 8

  • Extensive experience with PHP frameworks

  • Experience with high-traffic and high-availability web applications

  • Hands-on experience with containerized applications and pod orchestration

  • Willingness to write unit, integration and functional tests

  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles and a commitment to adhering to them

  • Passion for best design and coding practices and desire to develop new bold ideas

  • Familiarity with design patterns and their implementation

  • Knowledge of the agile software development lifecycle

  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Go (Golang)

  • Familiarity with event sourcing and distributed systems

  • Experience with stream processing pipelines

  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines

  • Practical knowledge of caching technologies

The starting salary is 3000 EUR gross monthly but will be higher if you are a senior candidate. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering your skills and experience.
