Miguel Coego

Miguel Coego is the current Vice President of Finance for Europe at Mundipharma. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager for Southern Europe at Orphazyme A/S from February 2021 to September 2021. Before that, Coego was the VP CFO EMEA at Mundipharma from January 2020 to January 2021. Miguel has also worked as an external consultant for STADA Group from September 2019 to December 2019.

From March 2011 to May 2019, Coego served as the General Manager for the Andean Region at Shire. In this role, they were responsible for managing Shire's operations in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. Prior to joining Shire, Coego was the Director of Volvo Car Financial Services in Spain from July 2006 to March 2011.

Miguel has also held positions as Chief Accountant and Project Manager at Gestión y Técnicas del Agua from October 2004 to June 2006 and Senior Accountant-Financial Controller at Shell España, S.A. from July 2003 to September 2004.

Miguel Coego has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Abertay University and a BA in Business Administration from Universidade de Vigo.

Their manager is Marc Princen, Global CEO. They work with Marco Cerato - Senior Vice President Global Corporate and Business Development, Birgit Kudlek - Global SVP (Ex-US) Technical Operations, and Brian Sheehan - Senior Vice President Innovation.
