Your Role The Service and Maintenance Engineer is a hands-on role focused on maintaining operational excellence in production equipment. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of ME’s production technology and for enhancing the performance and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Your future tasks at a glance

  • Equipment Stewardship:Maintain testing and production equipment meticulously. From calibrations to troubleshooting, you’ll ensure seamless operations.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for our network of suppliers and partners. Your insights will fuel innovation across the board.
  • Performance Pioneer:Utilize state-of-the-art techniques to enhance KPIs and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Technical Trouble-shooter:Swiftly collaborate to resolve technical issues from Level 1 to Level 3. You’re the go-to problem solver.
  • Maintenance Strategist: Develop predictive and corrective maintenance strategies. Efficiency is your mantra.
  • Production Support: During commissioning, ramp-up, and post-SOP phases, you’ll ensure smooth transitions.
  • Change Management: Manage change processes seamlessly, minimizing disruptions.
  • Collaboration Expert: Engage with hardware designers, software developers, suppliers, and production partners. Extract and refine critical information.

What you bring with you

  • Passion for innovation with a degree in electrical/automotive engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment.
  • Knowledge in programming languages, automotive buses, and networking.
  • Familiarity with production technology, processes, and testing equipment.
  • Keen eye for spotting opportunities for optimization with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to plan and execute maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to communicate technical details effectively in  cross-functional teams.
