Benedikt Bruognolo

Benedikt Bruognolo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and project management, currently serving as the Global Strategy Lead at Munich Re since 2021, where previous roles included Project Manager in Group Strategy M&A. Prior to Munich Re, Benedikt worked at Strategy& as an Engagement Manager from 2017 to 2021, and held positions as a Research Associate at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2014 to 2017, and as a Strategy Consultant at Booz & Company and Oliver Wyman in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Theoretical Quantum Physics, a Master of Science in Physics, and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Physics, all from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, along with a Visiting Research Associate position in Physics at UC Irvine and participation in an Erasmus program at Università di Pisa.
