Torsten Schüßler

Torsten Schüßler is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in database management and IT service leadership. Currently serving as a Senior IT Service Manager at Munich Re since February 2014, Schüßler focuses on global IT infrastructure and cloud integration while driving IT maturity through strategic planning and advanced technology implementation. Previous roles include Lead Database Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed managing global database infrastructure and leading technical teams. Schüßler is also the Local Chapter Leader for PASS Deutschland, promoting the Microsoft SQL Server community. Additional roles include Senior Database and System Administrator at Europoles GmbH & Co. KG, System and Database Administrator at RAIL.ONE, and various positions in database application development and software development at other organizations.
