Mustafa Hazime has over 12 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on strategic planning, talent management, and employee relations. Mustafa is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources, Diversity, and Inclusion at MERS of Michigan, where they have led talent initiatives and implemented a new learning management system. Prior to this role, Mustafa held leadership positions at Hamadeh Educational Services, Michigan Medicine, Lowe's Companies Inc., Sears, and Bank of America, where they gained experience in HR support, operational strategy, and employee relations. Mustafa Hazime earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2004 to 2011. Mustafa later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Mustafa has obtained several certifications. In July 2015, they earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. During the same month and year, they also obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. In August 2019, Mustafa became a Predictive Index Practitioner, certified by The Predictive Index. Furthermore, in November 2020, they completed the Developing and Implementing an Outward Mindset Trainer certification from The Arbinger Institute, and in November 2021, they obtained the Outward Inclusion Trainer certification, also from The Arbinger Institute.
