Dillon Thompson is an experienced educator and manager with a background in science education and managerial roles in high-demand environments. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at the School Town of Munster since October 2019, Dillon previously held various positions at Amazon, including Area Manager and Process Assistant, where significant improvements in quality and safety protocols were achieved. With coaching experience at Barrington Swim Club and Palatine Park District Swim Team, Dillon has effectively developed training programs and fostered communication with athletes and parents. Additionally, Dillon has a history of handling collections at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History and administrative oversight at Munster Parks and Recreation, showcasing strong organizational and leadership skills. Dillon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Yale University, complemented by a Core 40 Diploma with Academic Honors from Munster High School.
