Rodrigo Perez Varas

Rodrigo Perez Varas has a diverse range of work experience. Rodrigo started their career in 2002 as a Senior Developer for the Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Nektra, where they focused on reverse-engineering applications and developing programming interfaces. Rodrigo also participated in developing tools for analyzing closed-source applications, which later became useful for malware analysis.

In 2009, Rodrigo joined Globant as a C++ Senior Software Developer for a brief period. Later that year, they joined Gilbarco Veeder Root as a Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they oversaw software development for two scrum teams and designed the architecture of a tablet-based, HTML5 PointOfSale solution with a .NET backend. Rodrigo held this position until March 2021.

Most recently, Rodrigo joined MURAL in March 2021 as a Staff Engineer and Team Architect for the core UX team. Rodrigo was rapidly promoted to this role from a front-end senior software developer. Rodrigo'sresponsibilities included maintaining core UX functionality and delivering UX competitive differentiators for the company's flagship product. The key aspects of this team's developments focused on usability, consistency, and performance.

Rodrigo Perez Varas attended the University of Buenos Aires from 2003 to 2006, where they studied Mathematics. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1998, they attended Escuela Técnica ORT and obtained a Technician degree in Communication Technologies.
