Edward Murrell

Edward Murrell is an accomplished software engineer and consultant with extensive experience in data engineering, software development, and cloud operations. Currently serving as an Honorary Fellow at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute since July 2021, Edward volunteers in genetic rare disease research. As the Owner and Contractor at Code Foundation since April 2017, Edward specializes in delivering quality through Test Driven Development and continuous delivery. Notably, Edward held leadership positions at Detexian, Cevo Australia, and nbn™ Australia, focusing on SaaS security, devops consulting, and continuous delivery frameworks. Previous roles include technical leadership and senior development positions at EonX, Astute Payroll, Open Universities Australia, and Catalyst IT Australia Pty Limited. Edward earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Waikato between 2000 and 2005.
