Anupiya Nugaliyadde

Anupiya Nugaliyadde serves as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Norwood Systems Ltd, leading the design and development of AI-based conversational agent applications. Additionally, Anupiya holds positions as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer and Honorary Research Fellow at Murdoch University, engaging in groundbreaking research in AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning while supervising PhD and Master by Research students. Previous experience includes a Senior Data Scientist role at idoba, where Anupiya developed data science solutions to increase mine revenue, and a series of research and teaching positions at Murdoch University and SLIIT, focusing on deep learning, natural language processing, and data analytics. Anupiya earned a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Murdoch University and holds a BS in Information Technology from SLIIT.
