Saher Rashid Baig

Saher Rashid Baig currently serves as the Regional Focal Point for Europe for SDG11 at Major Group for Children and Youth since February 2023. Baig holds multiple roles within YOUNGO, including Contact Point for the Nationally Determined Contribution Working Group and the Human Rights Working Group, as well as Liaison for the virtual conference of youth (vCOY) since January 2020. Additionally, Baig has been involved as a Contact Point for YOUNGO since January 2019 and as a Markmaker for the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live since December 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Campaign Coordinator for Mock COP and SDG Executive for Hack Embassy. Baig is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Politics at Masaryk University Brno, having commenced studies in September 2022.
