Kayla Simmering

Kayla Simmering currently serves as the Director of Events at the Museum of Boulder, a position held since October 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing front desk agents, managing facility rentals, and facilitating private and community events. Prior experience includes serving as an Event Sales Manager at the Museum, overseeing all private events, and acting as a liaison to ensure event success. Kayla has also held various roles at Sage Hospitality from June 2012 to October 2019, including Dual Events Manager and Conference Services Manager, where responsibilities involved planning, negotiating, and executing events while liaising with hotel departments and clients. Additionally, Kayla has worked as a Property Manager at Vrbo since 2017, managing property upkeep and guest bookings. Kayla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Colorado State University.
