Ellen Orseck is an experienced art instructor with a distinguished career in teaching watercolor and various art forms. At the Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies since September 2012, Ellen leads courses in beginner watercolor techniques. As an instructor at the Watercolor Arts Society of Houston since January 2012, Ellen focuses on still life and landscape subjects. Ellen also conducts workshops at the Glassell School of Art, including "The Artful Traveler" and a Plein Air watercolor workshop. Prior experience includes serving as an adjunct professor of art at the University of Houston-Downtown and as an art instructor at St. Agnes Academy. Ellen holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from New York University and a Master of Arts in Museum Education from The George Washington University.
