Tish Stringer is an experienced audio visual specialist currently working at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston since January 2022. Tish is the founder and owner of Dangerous Media, a role held since August 2000. In addition, Tish serves on the board of Girls Rock Camp Houston and has been an advisory board member and instructor for Aurora Picture Show since July 2009, focusing on youth filmmaking. Tish previously worked as a lecturer and film program manager, as well as a film and video technician at Rice University from May 2008 to June 2022. Tish holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology from Rice University, completed in 2006, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Anthropology and Cultural Studies from the University of Minnesota, obtained in 1997.
