Melinda Sauder possesses extensive experience in supporting families, particularly in military and early childhood settings. Currently serving as an Exceptional Family Member Program Case Liaison and New Parent Support Home Visitor at the United States Department of Defense since September 2021, Melinda emphasizes strengths-based support for military families. As the Licensed Music Together Center Director since February 2007, Melinda teaches music and movement classes for children aged 0-5. Previous roles include serving as a Parents as Teachers Home Visitor at the Panhandle Health District, a Family Resources Coordinator at the Spokane Regional Health District, and an Early Head Start Field Supervisor at The Opportunity Council, among others. Melinda's educational background includes a Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy from Florida State University and ongoing studies for a Master's in Social Work with a specialization in Military Social Work at Walden University.
