Andrew McCluskey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Andrew started their career as an Information Technology Recruitment Consultant at Resources International / Aspen Scott Associates from September 1990 to February 1992. Following this, they worked as a Retail Buyer & Store Manager at Marks & Spencer, where they managed teams and coordinated merchandise distribution from February 1992 to July 1999. Andrew then moved on to the Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation, where they held multiple roles including Admin Assistant, Systems Manager, Executive Director, and CEO from January 2002 to March 2006. During their time there, they formulated and executed strategic business plans and oversaw the relocation of the national office. McCluskey further expanded their skillset by becoming the Creative Director and Musical Director at ShadowMan Entertainment LLC from April 2006 to August 2008. Andrew then founded their own web development agency called Kilted Chaos in June 2009, specializing in brand identity and digital footprint. In May 2011, they established Simply Friday, a company they own. Most recently, McCluskey joined musicto in March 2016 as a Creator / Contributor, where they are a part of the global creator community that focuses on music.

Andrew McCluskey attended The Kings School in Ely, Cambridgeshire from 1976 to 1984. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Westminster from 1987 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Psychology. In 2010, Andrew briefly attended Berklee College of Music to study Digital Marketing with Topspin, although no degree was specified for this program.
