Hwansung Yu

Hwansung Yu has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Hwansung began their career in 2011 as a Software Engineer at Kakao Corp, where they primarily worked on the Data Platform Team. During their time there, they developed and operated an event server to collect user activity logs for numerous services within the company. In 2015, Hwansung joined The Apache Software Foundation as a PPMC member, a role they held until 2020. In 2018, they joined SK Telecom as a Data Engineer at the AI Research Center, where they worked until 2020. Most recently, in 2019, Hwansung became the Data Platform Manager at musinsa.

Hwansung Yu pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics at the University of Seoul from 2003 to 2011.
