Head Start Family Advocate at Muskegon Area ISD

Kate Parr has a diverse work experience in the field of early childhood development and family support. Kate worked as a Head Start Family Advocate at Muskegon Area ISD, where they partnered with families to develop goals and supported children's readiness for kindergarten. Kate also served as an Operations Manager at First Steps, overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives and grants. Prior to that, Kate worked as a Services Specialist at the State of Michigan, providing casework services and addressing clients' needs. Kate has also interned and volunteered at MomsBloom and Family Futures, gaining experience in home visiting and organizing family resources.

From 2008 to 2012, Kate Parr attended Grand Valley State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology.
