Roza Howton

Roza Howton is a graduate student at McGill University since January 2023 and has served as a Clinical Data Analyst at HOP Tech since December 2018. Additionally, Roza has been a core team member, photographer, and videographer for TEDx Calgary since September 2017, contributing to event planning and facilitating discussions. Roza volunteers with the Muslim Association of Canada, assisting in charity work, and has worked as a volunteer science demonstrator for the Calgary Science Network since 2012. As a freelance photographer and writer since 1993, Roza specializes in landscape, astrophotography, and various writing genres. Roza's past experience also includes a role as a lab analyst at Maxxam Analytics Inc. and as a private tutor for physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. Roza holds a Master of Science in Medical Physics and Bio-engineering from UCL and completed online tutorials in programming from CodeAcademy.
