Ivo Hobson

Ivo Hobson is an experienced professional in private equity, currently serving as Director and Head of UK at Mutares SE & Co. KGaA since June 2020, following a progression from Associate Director to Senior Investment Manager and Investment Manager within the investment team for mid-cap private equity. Prior to Mutares, Ivo worked at FTI Consulting as a Senior Consultant in EMEA corporate finance, providing transaction services and restructuring support from September 2017 to June 2020. Ivo's earlier experience includes a role as an Executive at EY, where Ivo became a fully qualified chartered accountant by passing all ACA papers at the first attempt, and internships at Thomas Murray Data Services, Citi, State Street Bank, and Czarnikow Group Ltd. Ivo holds a degree from Durham University and completed education at Eton College.
