Pieter Ramaekers has worked in various roles in the automotive industry since 2009. In 2021, they became the Chief Operating Officer at MUTE International, where they are responsible for bringing green, sustainable, hassle-free, and safe urban mobility to individuals and businesses. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Ricardo, where they held the roles of Vice President of Engineering, Programme Management, and Technical Authority, and C&E Hybrid/EV Department Leader and Project Leader. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at FEV GmbH as a Resident Project Leader and Resident Engineer. Lastly, from 2009 to 2011, they worked at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool as a Faculty Advisor for the Formula Student team and a Junior Automotive Researcher for AUTOSAR.

Pieter Ramaekers obtained their MSc. in Automotive Engineering - Electronics/ICT from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool between 2005 and 2009. Pieter then went on to complete a Global Executive MBA from Hult International Business School in 2018, with a focus on Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship. In the same year, they obtained a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ. In 2022, they will begin studying for a Master of Business Administration - MBA from ThePower Business School. Additionally, they have completed a Self-Driving Car Engineer program from Udacity in 2018, which focused on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Sensor Fusion, Localization, Control, and Path Planning.
