Christina Cook

Christina Cook has a diverse work experience in roles related to product design and web development. Christina is currently working as a Product Designer at Mux since January 2022. Previously, they worked at Stream Club as a Product Designer from March 2021 to December 2021. From May 2020 to March 2021, they worked at Upperstudy in the role of a Product Designer. Before that, they held the position of Product Design Lead at Wistly from February 2020 to September 2020 and at ConnectNGive from April 2020 to August 2020.

In addition to their design roles, Christina also worked as a JavaScript and Java Tutor at a private company from January 2019 to August 2020.

Christina has also had experiences as a Founder and Previous Co-Director at Spectra from December 2015 to July 2019. At Spectra, they co-founded and organized all-ladies hackathons that impacted over 500 women and non-binary attendees.

Christina gained web development experience through internships at Spotify in 2018 and Autodesk in 2017. At Spotify, they redesigned the experience for right-to-left readers, while at Autodesk, they redesigned the landing page, optimized web page size, and created UI components and animations.

Christina also interned as a Branding Intern at ProSky in 2016.

Christina Cook received their Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science - Design and Interaction from the University of California, San Diego from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Ohlone College from 2013 to 2016, where they studied Computer Science. Christina completed their high school education at American High School from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained a certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in June 2014.
