Erik Peña

Erik Peña is a Solutions Engineer at Mux. Erik previously worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at You.i TV from March 2019 to September 2020. At You.i TV, Erik was responsible for working with the Sales team and customers to help enable an opportunity by providing the technical qualifications for potential customers. Erik's regions included (but were not limited to) Western Americas and APAC.

Other responsibilities and applied skills included the following—attending trade show and technical summits as a representative for You.i TV, exercising JavaScript/TypeScript fluently within React Native for building sample applications, assisting customers or generally providing guidance, applying knowledge of C++ for building native functionality into applications, traveling either with the Sales team or individually to customer locations to work with customers, assisting in strategic market positioning to define how we engage opportunities, responsible for on-boarding customers (generally in groups) by going through training to disseminate knowledge of You.i's Engine One SDK, API and design patterns, working closely with technical customers in defining a scope and success indicators for proof of concepts, serving as project guardian (akin to project management) by leading teams on the customer's side through the process of development and, where appropriate, assist in the development as well, worked with third-parties in building against the You.i Engine One as integrations, and when needed, offering assistance to our internal Customer Success teams for engagements.

Erik Peña has a background in Client-Server Programming from Highline College. Erik also has a certification from Microsoft in Microsoft XSLT Certification.

Erik Peña reports to Jasmine Tsai, VP, Engineering. They are on a team with Bryce Fisher - Fleig - Sr. Software Engineer, Jeremy Condon - Senior Software Engineer, and Kyle Weaver - Senior Software Engineer.
