Victoria Nemiah

Victoria Nemiah has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Victoria is currently the General Counsel at Mux, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Udemy in various roles from 2017 to 2022, including Associate General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel, where they led teams and provided legal counsel on a wide range of topics such as commercial, product, privacy, marketing, finance, HR, intellectual property, litigation, and compliance-related matters. Before Udemy, they worked at HubSpot as a Corporate Counsel, where they focused on international data privacy law compliance and provided legal guidance to engineering and product teams. Victoria also worked as a Legal Intern at HubSpot and gained experience in researching and drafting legal memos, reviewing agreements, and redlining contracts. Prior to that, they worked as a Lawyering Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at New York University School of Law, where they assisted with classroom exercises and conducted research on trademark law, torts, and First Amendment issues. Victoria also interned at Justice At Work, where they drafted legal documents and provided legal guidance on employment and discrimination law. Additionally, they worked as a Research and Technical Associate at Monitor Deloitte, where they designed web forms and conducted industry research. Victoria began their career as a Grader in the Computer Science Department at Boston University. Victoria Nemiah completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology at Boston University from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at New York University School of Law from 2011 to 2014.
