Tatjana Greil Castro

Tatjana Greil Castro, PhD has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Tatjana currently holds the position of Co-Head of Public Markets at Muzinich & Co, a role they have held since August 2020. Tatjana is also a Senior Portfolio Manager and UK Board Director at the same company, a position they have held since May 2007.

Before working at Muzinich & Co, Tatjana worked as an Associate Director at MetLife from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Portfolio Manager at Fortis Investments from 2004 to 2006 and as a Portfolio Manager/Credit Analyst at Legal & General Investment Management from 2001 to 2004. Tatjana started their career in the finance industry as a Credit Researcher at Merrill Lynch from 1999 to 2001.

Tatjana Greil Castro, PhD, completed their education with a strong focus on economics. Tatjana obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Vienna, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in International Economics at the Kiel Institute of World Economics, graduating in 1996. To further enhance their expertise, Tatjana Greil Castro enrolled in a PhD program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they earned their PhD in Economic History specializing in the financing behavior of German corporates from 1950-1965. This marked the completion of their formal education in 1998.
