Leah Vensil

Leah Vensil is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Social Work at Ohio University since August 2022, where courses taught include Introduction to Social Work, Research Methods, and International Social Work. Concurrently, Leah serves as a Social Worker and Manager of Patient Experience, PAAS, & SDoH at MVHC since August 2018. Previous experience includes managing Case Management at Genesis Healthcare System and working as an Inpatient Medical Social Worker at UC Health. Leah holds a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, and both a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution. Leah's professional background includes significant contributions to the National Association of Social Workers Ohio Chapter and development of community-focused social health initiatives.
