Michael J. Hamilton has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on data analytics and management. Michael J. currently serves as the Chief Data Officer at MVP Health Care, where they lead a team of employees dedicated to improving the health and wellness of over 700,000 members in New York and Vermont. Prior to joining MVP Health Care, Hamilton held leadership positions at Albany Medical Center, Northrop Grumman, StrategicHealthSolutions, NCI Information Systems, Thomson Reuters, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. During these roles, they focused on utilizing data and analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare systems. Hamilton also gained experience in research and performance improvement during their time at the Middle Tennessee Research Institute and Franklin Covey.
Michael J. Hamilton attended Belmont University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry for the Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology. Later, they enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) for their Master of Arts degree in Quantitative Psychology.
In addition to their formal education, Michael J. Hamilton has acquired various certifications.
