Dr. Gunter Eberling

Dr. Gunter Eberling's work experience includes various leadership roles in sales, customer experience, and customer value management. Dr. Gunter served as the Managing Director of Sales at Soluvia Energy Services GmbH and was responsible for developing the customer experience strategy and driving customer centricity as the Head of Customer Experience at MVV Energie AG. Dr. Eberling also held the position of Senior Vice President in Customer Lifetime Value Management at Verivox GmbH, where they focused on developing the customer base as the main growth driver. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Customer Value Management at 1&1 IONOS, where they achieved revenue and customer net growth through data-driven customer journey management and personalized campaign management. Dr. Gunter also has leadership experience in direct marketing and sales performance management at 1&1 Telecommunication SE and Vodafone, respectively. Early in their career, Dr. Eberling served as a Managing Director at Global Group Dialog Solutions AG, where they developed data-driven marketing concepts and managed implementations for clients. Dr. Gunter began their professional journey at Accenture D-A-C-H as a consultant.

Dr. Gunter Eberling earned a PhD from Technische Universität Darmstadt, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001. Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Fachrichtung Elektrotechnik from the same institution, studying from 1992 to 1998. In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Eberling has obtained several certifications, including "Gemba Kaizen: A Commonsense Approach to Continuous Improvement," "Delivering Bad News to a Customer," "Digital Transformation," "RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders," "Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0)," "A Manager's Toolkit for Supporting Change," and "Leading a Customer-Centric Culture," all from LinkedIn. Dr. Gunter obtained these certifications between November 2020 and August 2021.
