James McDougall

James McDougall has a diverse work experience. James is currently working as a Software Engineer at MyCase since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at LPL Financial as a Software Engineer from 2021 to 2022, where they developed web applications on the AWS cloud using Java and Springboot.

James also has experience as an Engineering Research Intern at the San Diego Supercomputer Center from 2019 to 2021. During this time, they developed secure Jupyter services and wrote bash scripts for streamlined access to Jupyter Notebooks on supercomputers. James also presented a research poster at the PEARC conference in Summer 2021.

As a Software Engineer Intern at Centauri in 2020, James developed a machine learning pipeline for object detection using PyTorch and presented models to educate technical partners on modern object detection techniques. James also worked as a Data Research Analyst, where they used Pandas and SciPy to analyze data from a Computer Science Education research study.
