Pete Leonard

Pete Leonard has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Pete is currently the Head of Delivery Engineering at MYCOM OSI, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, Pete served as the TechOps Lead at MYCOM OSI from August 2019 to January 2021.

Before joining MYCOM OSI, Pete worked at Verizon for over a decade. Pete held various technical leadership positions, including Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, Management Information Systems from October 2016 to August 2019, Principle Member of Technical Staff, Network Support Solutions from October 2011 to October 2016, and Member of Technical Staff, Development and Support Organizations from October 2007 to October 2011. During their time at Verizon, Pete played a key role in developing and supporting network management solutions for 4G, LTE, and VoLTE wireless networks, as well as conceptualizing and developing solutions for 1X/EVDO and 3G wireless technology. Pete also implemented SAFe and Agile development methodologies and led successful smart alarming and asset transfer solutions architecture, development, and deployment.

Before joining Verizon, Pete served as the President of TelmedCo Solutions Inc, where they orchestrated and established short and long-term company tactics. Pete also worked as the Director of Affiliate Development at CenterCube, where they defined, designed, and deployed an internal website platform and provided expert support for search engine optimization and sales and marketing.

Pete's earlier work experience includes roles such as Director of Business Development at ATEK Technical Solutions, where they delivered technical solutions and strategic business plans, and Partner Development/Channel Partner/Global Alliances/Sales/Sales Engineering at Agilent Technology / Objective Systems Integrators (OSI), where they facilitated the development and implementation of partnerships and provided support to the partner network.

Prior to these positions, Pete served as President and Principal Consultant at Leonard Systems International Inc., providing contractual network management services to Open Technologies, Inc. Pete also worked as a Systems Engineer and Team Lead at MCI, where they fabricated and maintained provisioning systems, and as an Engineering Change Specialist at Hughes Aircraft Company, where they received accolades for implementing cost-effective changes.

Overall, Pete Leonard has extensive experience in technical leadership, solution architecture, development, and deployment, and business development across various industries.

Pete Leonard pursued their education from 1984 to 1989 at Pima Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering. Pete then went on to attend the University of Arizona from 1989 to 1993, studying Systems Engineering with an emphasis in software, and earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Later, in March 2018, they obtained their Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
