Ana Krulec

Ana Krulec has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Ana is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at CoPilot since November 2021. Prior to this, Ana worked at Google for a significant period of time, starting in January 2011. At Google, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from November 2017 to November 2021. In this role, Ana was responsible for designing and implementing Android applications, setting up release flows and automated testing, and leading cross-functional teams. Before their role as a Senior Software Engineer, Ana worked as a Software Engineer at Google from January 2011 to November 2017. In this role, they designed and implemented complex C++/Java backends, made architectural tradeoffs for performance and flexibility, and designed interfaces for the server.

Ana's work experience also includes a role as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from January 2009 to December 2010. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Google from January 2010 to May 2010.

Prior to their career in software engineering, Ana served as the International Relations Officer for the Student Organization of the University of Primorska from January 2005 to October 2008.

Ana Krulec completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Primorska, Slovenia, between 2003 and 2008. Ana later pursued a Master of Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2011.
