Andy Sklar

Andy Sklar has a diverse range of work experience in the entertainment design industry. In 2013, they worked as an Art Director at Riva Creative USA, where they were responsible for overseeing the design and art direction of various projects. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Senior Creative Director at Themetech, leading a design team and working on development packages for entertainment experiences in China. Andy then became the Executive Art Director at USJ LLC (Universal Studios Japan) from 2016 to 2018, where they oversaw the design and implementation of seasonal and special event attractions. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Production Designer at Universal Studios Hollywood, focusing on projects such as the Raptor Encounter - Jurassic World. Andy also worked as an Art Director at MYCOTOO, Inc. in 2021 and 2022. Currently, they are the Principal Owner of ASL Entertainment Design. Throughout their career, Sklar has collaborated with renowned brands including Universal Studios, Warner Bros, Disney, Nickelodeon, and more.

Andy Sklar attended the Kansas City Art Institute, where they participated in the Foundations Program. Andy then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration Design at the Rhode Island School of Design from 1985 to 1989.
