Christopher Karper

Christopher Karper has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Christopher currently holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at MyFitnessPal since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Engineering Director of Platform at MyFitnessPal from June 2021 to March 2023, and as a Senior Engineering Manager from December 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining MyFitnessPal, Christopher worked at Under Armour as an Engineering Manager from January 2019 to December 2020 and as a Software Architect from November 2016 to January 2019.

Christopher'searlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Tricerat, where they designed and developed microservice-based monitoring systems and developed cross-platform applications. Christopher worked at Tricerat from July 2007 to September 2016.

Before that, Christopher was a Senior Developer at Edison Worldwide from May 2006 to June 2007 and a Content Developer at eSylvan from August 2004 to May 2006.

Christopher also has experience as the Owner/Consultant at Blue Brook Systems, LLC, where they developed systems using SQL Server 2000, C#, Java, ASP, and ASP.NET, from September 2003 to November 2004.

Christopher began their career as a Computer Programmer in the United States Air Force, where they served from June 1995 to January 1999.

Throughout their career, Christopher has held various senior-level roles, demonstrating their expertise in engineering, management, and software development.

Christopher Karper attended North County High School from 1992 to 1994, but did not obtain a degree or study a specific field during that time. Christopher later pursued Computer Science studies at CCAF, although the start and end years are unknown.
