AJITH ANAND

AJITH ANAND began their work experience as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Noble Research Institute in 2003. From 2009 to 2019, they worked at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. as a Research Scientist, where they played a key role in launching transgenics and CRISPR-Cas gene editing technologies for multiple crops. In 2019, they joined Corteva Agriscience as a Technology Leader, focusing on the commercialization of biotech solutions and leading various aspects of research and development. AJITH also served as a New Business Incubator Consultant at Corteva Agriscience, where they expanded new market opportunities and created a business plan for a first-to-market product strategy. From 2021 to 2022, AJITH ANAND worked as the Director of Research and Development at Conception Nurseries, leading a team to advance innovation and research operations. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Strategy and Operations at MyFloraDNA Inc. and starting from June 2023, they will also take on the role of Vice President of Research and Development at the same company.

AJITH ANAND's education history includes a Master of Business Administration- Executive MBA from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Plant Sciences from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. AJITH also holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Plant Sciences from the University of Madras.

In addition to their formal education, AJITH ANAND has obtained various certifications.
