Khalid Choglay

Khalid Choglay is currently employed as a Desert Bartender and Barista at Mylahore since July 2022, where responsibilities include efficiently handling dessert and drink orders while adhering to food safety standards and developing skills such as basic latte art. Prior experience includes a short tenure as a Waiter at Annyeong Korean Restaurant, along with a role as a Research Assistant at Universitat Jaume I focused on Oxy-Fuel Thermal Spray of Micro & Nano Ceramic Coatings and conducting material tests. Khalid has also contributed to suspension design at Salford Racing and served as an Admin Support Worker at AluFoldDirect. Academically, Khalid is pursuing a PhD in Material Science and Optical Thin Films at The Manchester Metropolitan University, having previously earned an MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering Design and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Salford. Khalid also holds additional qualifications in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Jaume I and A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from St Mary's College Blackburn.
