Dr. Kerissa Kuis

Dr. Kerissa Kuis, MBA, serves as the Chief Executive Officer at BRAVE Leadership School since December 2022 and has held the position of Chief Wellbeing Officer at the University of Wellness since May 2009. Dr. Kuis is also an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Leadership at WVU John Chambers College of Business and Economics and a Teaching Faculty member at Penn State University. Additionally, Dr. Kuis works as a Talent & Culture Consultant at Mylan Park and serves as Associate Faculty at both the University of Arizona and the University of Arizona Global Campus, where involvement includes research at the Center of Women's Leadership. Previous experiences include roles as Executive Leadership & Wellness Trainer at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Director of Fitness & Wellness at Lakeview Golf Resort & Conference Center, and Director of Wellness at Wilfred R. Cameron Wellness Center. Dr. Kuis holds a Doctorate in Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston, an MBA from West Virginia University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University.
