Rex Belgarde

Rex Belgarde has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rex began their career as a Wellness Center Coordinator at Stony Brook University from 2004 to 2005, where they managed staff, trained new hires, and oversaw scheduling. From 2006 to 2009, Rex worked as an Orphans International Intern and later as a Development Officer, coordinating health summits, conducting research, and securing donors and grants. Rex then joined Enigma Laboratory as an Assistant Manager in 2007, where they coordinated testing, provided clinics with information, and compiled data for quality assurance. In 2009, Rex became a Technician at Genzyme Genetics, where they reviewed history on diagnostic and prognostic cases and managed the KRAS handling process. In 2012, they briefly worked as the Head of Organizations at NoteTAG, identifying not-for-profit organizations, allocating free ad space, and managing outreach. From 2016 to 2016, Rex served as a Fitness Coordinator at Lifestyle Change Nutrition & Fitness, conducting boot camps, performing fitness assessments, and educating patients on nutrition. In 2018, they joined Cityblock Health as a Community Health Partner, coordinating care, forming relationships with members, and navigating the healthcare system. Within Cityblock Health, Rex also held roles as a Product Specialist from 2019 to 2021, coordinating tools and communication for user feedback, and as a Senior Transitions of Care Specialist from 2021 to 2022, delivering plans and strategies to improve care transitions. Currently, Rex is working as a Product Manager at myLaurel™, starting in 2023.

Rex Belgarde has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from Stony Brook University. Rex also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Biology from Hunter College. Furthermore, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree with a field of study in Medicine from Saint James School of Medicine at Anguilla. In terms of additional certifications, Rex Belgarde has completed the HIPAA Privacy & Security certification from The HIPAA Group in June 2015. Rex has also obtained certifications in Healthcare Provider BLS and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens from the International CPR Institute Inc. in June 2015.
