Jaap Bruijstens has had a diverse work experience. Jaap started their career in 2011 as an Allround Medewerker for Probroed & Sloot. In 2016, they worked for Magistraal Events as an Oprichter & Marketing Lead, and for KWF Kankerbestrijding as a Projectleider Loterijen, Campagnecoördinator, Relatiebeheer, and Stagiair Evenementen. In 2017, they worked for IP Supply as an Online Marketeer. In 2018, they worked for Fahrenheit Festival as a Marketing Lead & Programmer. In 2021, they worked for Doornroosje as a Marketing Lead Planet Rose, and they are currently working for Myndr as a Marketing Lead since 2022.

Jaap Bruijstens obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 2017, majoring in Commerciëble Economie and minoring in Inspiring Leadership. In 2020, they also obtained a certification in Online Marketing from ICM opleidingen & trainingen.
