Jake Saffaras

Jake Saffaras is an experienced production specialist and freelance editor with a strong background in film and media. Currently employed at News 13 Orlando since September 2014, Jake is responsible for editing and preparing media for broadcast, with a focus on special projects such as character profiles and social justice segments. In addition, Jake has been a freelance editor, writer, and director at Zero 13 Pictures since July 2008, adept at crafting compelling narratives for various projects. Jake's diverse skill set was further developed during time at Full Sail University, where multiple roles in original productions were undertaken. Earlier experience includes serving as an Age Mechanic in the United States Air Force, with responsibilities in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. Jake holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Full Sail University, earned between 2011 and 2014.
