Miriam Schneider

Miriam is responsible for strategic and operational leadership, as well as the company’s legal and regulatory activities and compliance. Prior to joining the founding team at MyOwnDoctor, she served as General Counsel and Officer for Big Heart Ventures, an Illinois-based early-stage technology firm, where she led due diligence, formation and negotiation of joint ventures, preparing memorandum for investment opportunities, and management of personnel matters for all portfolio companies.

Miriam comes from a family of healthcare practitioners, and growing up, her internist mother was her biggest role model. Her mother instilled in Miriam a sense of integrity, compassion, and drive to do work that creates lasting impact. She is currently a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for youth in foster care and Board Secretary for Powered by Action.

Miriam holds a B.A. from Miami University and her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
