Orestis Fainekos

Orestis Fainekos has been working in the technology industry since 2006. Orestis began their career at Next Step Ltd as a Web Developer, participating in the development of dynamic web sites and the company's proprietary Content Management System and e-shop module. In 2010, they moved to Interlink Automations S.A. as an R&D Manager and Systems Engineer. In 2013, they founded and became the CTO of Lito MHA, leading the R&D team in designing and developing material handling automation products. Orestis successfully deployed a "Put to Light" sorting system for press distribution at Aspropirgos Greece, as well as a proprietary sophisticated "Pick to Cart" order fulfillment system for a pharmaceutical distribution center in Larnaca, Cyprus. In 2015, they founded and became the CTO of Myrmex, Inc.

Orestis Fainekos attended the Technical University of Crete from 2001 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree from the School of Production Engineering and Management.
