Mystery.org was created to generate better explanations for every question children have about the world. Mystery.org began with the 150 most common science questions that children ask teachers. This collection is called Mystery Science. Last year, more than 4 million children used Mystery Science in 50% of U.S. elementary schools. In an industry that is plagued by long sales cycles and high barriers to entry, Mystery.org has sold thousands of schools without a single sales person.

Others have experience in education, working as teachers, curriculum directors, and board members for schools. They also have experience in data science, product management, and software engineering. Many of them have advanced degrees from universities such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, and UC Santa Barbara.
