Victor F Andrade has a long and varied work experience in the technology industry. Victor F began their career in 1981 as a Design Engineer at Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc. In 1984, they moved to Commodore Business Machines, Inc as a Senior Design Engineer, where they were responsible for designing video controllers, memory management expansion units, and re-designing the 6502 8-bit processor from depletion NMOS to CMOS (C4510). In 1991, they joined AMD as a PMTS, Chip Level Circuits Design Manager/Technical Lead, where they worked with and guided the team responsible for the design of the custom circuits used at the chip-level of AMD's recent 28nm APU devices. Victor F also worked in the establishment of the macro design guidelines and drove the initial timing analysis of a couple of custom IPs. In 2013, they moved to Qualcomm as a Principal Engineer/Manager. In 2019, they joined Mythic as an AMS Verification Manager. Currently, they are working at Ambiq as an IP Management, Verification and Validation.
Victor F Andrade received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. Victor F then went on to receive their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
