Jason Anderson

Jason Anderson is the VP of Data at Mythical Games. Jason has over 12 years of experience in the tech industry, with a focus on cloud computing and data engineering.

Jason started their career as an intern at IBM, where they worked on developing a web application to maintain Open Virtualization Format (OVF) images. Jason then went on to work as a Cloud Architect and Master Inventor at IBM, leading pre-sales activities for private cloud engagements and conducting customer workshops.

In 2018, Jason founded Tobiko, a restaurant discovery tool that polls restaurant critics and users to provide the best recommendations. Tobiko also has a premium tier that can help you plan meals and automagically book you tables at great restaurants. Jason served as the VP of Engineering at Tobiko until 2021 when they joined Mythical Games.

Jason Anderson has a Master's degree in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same school. Jason also has certification from Hortonworks in Hortonworks Certified Associate, Coursera Course Certificates in Machine Learning, The Open Group in Certified IT Architect, Juniper Networks in Junos, Associate (JNCIA-Junos), The Open Group in Certified IT Specialist, IBM in IBM Certified Solution Advisor - Cloud Computing Architecture, Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and from Bellarmine College Preparatory.
