Derek Chang

Derek Chang is an experienced architectural professional currently serving as Associate II at MZA Architecture since September 2018, specializing in Revit model management for projects in China and the U.S. Previously, Derek worked as an Architectural Designer at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson from September 2015 to September 2016, contributing to design development and construction documents for a university masonry facility and exploring various design options for multiple project components. Earlier experience includes a role as a Graphic Designer at Design in Service in late 2013, where Derek focused on competition briefs and branding, and an internship at Peninsula Architects in the summer of 2013 that involved design development, schematics, and site photo documentation. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University, completed in 2015, and graduated from Hudson High School in 2011.
