Al Colombo, CPA

Al Colombo, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Al started their career as a Conflict Specialist at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in 2000, where they worked until 2001. Al then joined Portland State University as an Accounting Assistant from 2002 to 2003.

In 2003, Al joined Harrigan Price Fronk & Co., LLP as a Supervisor and remained in that role until 2011. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing teams and overseeing financial processes.

Following their tenure at Harrigan Price Fronk & Co., LLP, Al joined KemperSports Management in 2011. Al initially worked as an Accounting Manager at Desert Willow Golf Resort from 2011 to 2013, where they directed all financial activities and worked closely with various departments to improve internal controls. Al then became a Regional Controller - West Coast Managed Properties at KemperSports Management from 2013 to 2014. In this role, Al provided financial support and oversaw financial reporting for a portfolio of 17 golf courses, resorts, and restaurants.

Since 2014, Al has been working at n-Link. Al initially joined the company as a Controller, where they were responsible for managing the finance team, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and strategic pricing. In March 2020, they were promoted to the role of President, leading the organization in its growth and strategic initiatives.

Throughout their career, Al Colombo has demonstrated their expertise in finance and accounting, adhering to industry standards such as GAAP and DCAA guidelines. Al'sexperience in various sectors and leadership roles makes him a valuable asset in any finance or accounting position.

Al Colombo, CPA started their education at the University of Puget Sound from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. Later, from 2002 to 2003, they attended Portland State University and completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting.

In terms of certifications, Al Colombo obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the Oregon Board of Accountancy in June 2005. Al also acquired a license as a Licensed Oregon Municipal Auditor from the same institution in September 2011.
