Torbjørn Blom-Hagen

Torbjørn Blom-Hagen has extensive work experience in the finance field. Torbjørn is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at N2 Applied since September 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Mintra from September 2021 to September 2022. Before Mintra, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at ELOP AS from September 2019 to August 2021.

From 2017 to 2019, Torbjørn was the Group Head of M&A at KONGSBERG. Before that, they were the Executive Vice President International at Multiconsult from August 2015 to June 2017, where they managed a portfolio of subsidiaries and minority stakes in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Torbjørn also has experience at Aker Solutions, where they held various roles, including Senior Vice President of The Asset Integrity Management Division from January 2013 to August 2015 and Vice President of Corporate Business Development from September 2010 to February 2013. During their time at Aker Solutions, they managed a team of around 400 people across offices in Norway, UK, Canada, and the US.

In addition, Torbjørn has served as a Board Director at various companies, including Thrum Energy, Opax, and Tektonisk.

Before their roles in the private sector, they worked at Equinor (formerly Statoilhydro) as a Senior Advisor M&A/Investment Manager from January 2007 to September 2010, where they were responsible for executing corporate acquisitions and divestitures, as well as sourcing and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities in the energy sector.

Torbjørn Blom-Hagen began their education in 1988 at Elverum Videregående Skole, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Natural Sciences in 1992. In 1989, they had an exchange experience at Hastings High school, where they also studied Natural Sciences. Following this, from 1992 to 1997, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on Electronics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In 1996, they also attended Grenoble INP - Phelma for a year and obtained a second Master's degree in Engineering, also with a specialization in Electronics. Later, in 2004, Torbjørn attended INSEAD and completed an MBA program in Finance & Management.
