Martin Tietz

Martin Tietz is a highly experienced database engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Database Engineer at N26 since October 2023. Previously, Martin held positions at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, as Tech Lead for Open Source Databases and Database Reliability Engineer from September 2021 to September 2023. At KfW from October 2015 to August 2021, Martin excelled as a Database Platform Engineer & Architect, overseeing significant modernization of database strategies and the optimization of multi-terabyte databases. Martin's career began with various roles at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg, including a University Tutor and Research Assistant, following the attainment of a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in eBusiness from the same institution. With experience in mobile application development, project management, and online marketing, Martin brings a well-rounded skill set to the field of database engineering and technology.
