Brandon Karpf has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brandon started their career in the US Navy, serving as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer and holding leadership positions in information warfare and security management. Brandon also served as a Senior Operations Manager at US Cyber Command and a Security Operations Officer at the US Department of Defense.

In addition to their military career, Brandon has worked in the private sector. Brandon co-founded a failed startup called Bombadil and worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at KNC Strategic Services, where they provided strategic and technical cybersecurity services to clients. Brandon also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Cyber Science at the United States Naval Academy and as a Curriculum Developer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

More recently, Brandon has been involved in the technology industry. Brandon worked as a Research Engineer at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and as a Data System Engineer at the National Reconnaissance Office. Brandon currently holds positions at N2K Networks, where they are the Executive Director of New Markets, and at N2K Space, where they are an Executive Producer. Throughout their career, Brandon has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a dedication to cybersecurity.

Brandon Karpf has a diverse education history. Brandon holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Technology and Policy (Computer Science) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, they have an Executive MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Robotics and Control Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Brandon has also obtained certifications outside of their formal education. Brandon is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², which they achieved in January 2021. Furthermore, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in October 2020.

Before their postgraduate studies and certifications, Brandon attended The Lawrenceville School for their secondary education. Additionally, they pursued Wilderness Leadership training at NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School).
